Get to Know Us
Red Bear Farm is a living and ever evolving extension of our lineage, our ancestors, and the original peoples of these lands. It is a devotion to the legacy they began.
Where we carry forward their teachings of stewardship, reciprocity, and sacred relationship with all living things.
Our mission is to restore balance, protect our indigenous lifeways, and create pathways for healing that uplift and empower our people and our communities.
At Red Bear Farm, our tipis, ceremonies, bodywork, and earth-based wellness practices are living traditions passed down through our bloodline. They are medicine meant to help you slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the rhythms your spirit has always known.
Amarukhan Lodge
The Book
Written and illustrated by Eli Jah Redhawk Kenney-Kelley, Amarukhan Lodge explores the spirituality, design, and construction of one of the Earth’s most inspiring temple homes—the migratory conical lodge of Turtle Island (North America). Drawing on over 20 seasons of experience, Redhawk brings the traditional knowledge of lodge making into the light through the guidance of the ancestors.
Redhawk’s nine sacred body-measurement method allows a lodge to be designed to fit the owner’s mind, body, and spirit—like a custom pair of moccasins. By using your own body to determine the full measurement layout for the lodge cover, you are using what the ancestors have given us: our bodies, our lives, and our connection to creation. This method helps us co-create a temple home that our people have used for thousands of years during migration to stay physically and spiritually strong, and to remain connected to one of our primary sources of strength—the Earth.
Amarukhan Lodge shares teachings and knowledge rooted in the overstanding of the interconnectedness of the ancient peoples of Turtle Island—a people too often forgotten, yet who have not forgotten our origins. We have always been present in the Americas, migrating out and returning many times, never losing sight of our place in the human timeline. We are the first, and we will be the last.
This book is a continuation and revival of the living legacy of our Xi Amaru heritage, culture, ancestral guidance, and relations. Amarukhan Lodge is a key to bringing the people home.

About I&I
Redhawk & Waterbear
We are Redhawk and Waterbear — a family-owned, Indigenous-led sanctuary devoted to land, spirit, and community. Red Bear Farm and Earth Sanctuary was born from our shared calling to restore ancestral traditions, protect sacred land, and offer healing rooted in American Indian lifeways. Everything we do is guided by ancestral memory and a deep responsibility to Mother Earth.
Our sanctuary brings together regenerative farming, spiritual wellness, handmade Indigenous goods, and sacred tipi lodging to create a place where people can reconnect — with themselves, with the land, and with the wisdom of their ancestors. From traditional farming and herbal medicine to ceremony, animal stewardship, and earth-based education, we’ve created a space where community can breathe, learn, and heal.
As we grow, our intention remains simple: preserve traditional knowledge, uplift Indigenous communities, and offer experiences that honor spirit, reciprocity, and the Earth. Red Bear Farm is more than a business — it’s our family’s contribution to cultural restoration, land stewardship, and collective healing for generations to come.
